Great Conference! Three words: inspiring, motivating, challenging. Betances and Eagleman were the highlights for me. Betances, a fellow from the Bronx who has come so far and who shows how much one other person or teacher can do for an individual should be inspiring to all teachers. Eagleman was able to make a complicated subject simple by his very clear and simple examples. As a science teacher, I appreciated his technique and his errudition.
