Jonathan: Very impressive presentation. I agree that online learning will soon be a standard educational modality, and that technological aptitude is now essential. It is interesting that some skills are clearly generational–for example, many people over 30 lack the ability to read dense texts and papers online, while it is second nature for young people. I still prefer a physical “highlighter” when reading, over an electronic one.
One request: I applaud the idea of converting to electronic textbooks. This will save parent and schools money, and more importantly, will save the backs of our children!
Jonathan, Great presentation! Online learning is the wave of the future , College’s and Universities have been moving in this direction for years. I would encourage you to take a look at the iPad, I know they are kind of pricey but they are amazing. If you would like to see one I have one you could look at! Great to see St. Gregory moving into the 21st century!!!!
