Services include:

Speaking, Presenting, and Training:

For your conference, your faculty, your board, your parent body, or other audiences, Jonathan can offer what Peter Gow described as “one of the most complete and concise arguments for and “how-to” presentations on authentic school change that I’ve ever heard.”

In the past five years, Jonathan has presented and keynoted at more than ninety schools and state, regional, and national conferences in US, Canada, and Mexico; he has been called “a cutting edge leader for independent schools.”  Both keynote and workshop style presentations are available, and can be customized to meet your needs.   For more about Jonathan’s presentations, including a complete list, click here.

The Head of School at a school where Jonathan provided a day-long faculty professional development program reported  that

the faculty loved it, and a week later  are still buzzing about it. “Best in-service ever!” has been a common refrain. Jonathan mixed theory, experience, and concrete examples; plus teachers left with tangibles ideas for moving forward. One explained, “He made us see new possibilities.” Because of that, many have taken ideas and already begun running with them.”

Example of Jonathan’s presentation style, (though not a perfectly representative example, because this “ignite” session is a rapid fire– five minute 20 slide session — meaning it is much more rushed than a normal presentation.)

Writing and Editing:

Seeking a writer or editor for a special report, white paper, how-to manual, resource toolkit, or some other publication?  Jonathan can provide something hard to find: a combination of excellence in writing style and deep experience and expertise in educational leadership, innovation and advancement.  In the past five years, organizations such as SSAT, Index, Asia Society,  Think through Math, and many more have published reports and papers authored by Jonathan.  Samples of them are provided on his blog (21k12blog.net), and on request.
